The Guitar Handbook – a quick review

The Guitar HandbookThe Guitar Handbook by Ralph Denyer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A really nice reference book for the guitar. In addition to pages on iconic guitar makers and players it has multiple useful charts on scale, chords, progressions etc. A must have for anyone who loves this instrument.

  1. Steve, I had got this book in 2001 at a sale of sorts. At the time I could not make head or tails of it, except for the guitar and guitarist bios. It took me almost 11 years to understand( or more correctly, start to understand) the whole tone, semi tone and scale idea. Reading it again with this knowledge feels fantastic.
